Recover iPod Touch videos with Enigma Recovery software
Much more than a simple personal music player, the iPod Touch can also be used to record and store videos on
your device. From 1st birthday parties to fun times with your friends, the videos on your iPod Touch capture
some of the most important moments in your life.
If you have accidentally deleted videos from your iPod Touch or an OS update has gone horribly wrong, causing
data loss, the first place you can check to see if these can be recovered, is the ‘Recently Deleted’ folder,
which keeps deleted photos and videos for up to 30 days (unless you delete them manually from this folder as
well).
If you’ve accidentally pressed the wrong button and lost an important video, then this is a great, quick
option to recover it.
If however, you have deleted videos from the ‘Recently Deleted Folder’ or the 30 day period has lapsed and
they are no longer in the folder, then you can turn to Enigma Recovery software. This innovative solution will
enable you to recover deleted videos from an iCloud or iTunes backup file, made before you deleted the videos
from your device.
The software is completely secure, and will not cause any damage to your iPod Touch or to your data. It is a
great solution if you’re worried that your important videos are gone forever. Choose from the tutorials below
to recover your deleted videos now!

How to Recover Videos From Your iPod Touch
It’s happened to the best of us – an accidental tap on the wrong button or our devices failing during an
update – and all of a sudden you have lost very important data. Of all of the functionality offered by the
iPod Touch, losing or accidentally deleting videos is one of the most upsetting, as they are often
irreplaceable captures of a moment, and may be the only copy in existence.
As luck would have it, there are some options available if you have deleted important videos from your
iPod Touch. Firstly, you should check the ‘Recently Deleted’ folder on your iPod Touch. Added by default
to all devices on iOS 8 or higher, and available to older devices which can upgrade to iOS 8 or higher,
the ‘Recently Deleted’ folder is a great quick fix for those of us who instantly realise that we have
deleted the wrong video and need to recover it.
Looking through the ‘Recently Deleted’ folder, you can find videos which have been deleted in the last 30
days. You can also use Enigma Recovery software to find and view these deleted videos.
If however, you have realised too late that a precious video is gone, or a device malfunction has wiped
all of the data on your iPod Touch, there are other options for recovery, using either an iCloud or iTunes
backup file and Enigma Recovery software.

How to Recover Videos From Your iPod Touch iTunes Backup File
When your iPod Touch is lost, stolen or faces the dreaded ‘white screen of death’, one of the scariest
thoughts is the amount of data that you stand to lose access to. As we place more and more importance on
our digital devices, we have come to rely on them to capture and store some of the most significant
moments in our lives.
If you have lost or deleted videos from your iPod Touch, then Enigma Recovery software can help you
retrieve it. Even without your physical device, or if the device won’t turn on, you can still access and
extract the data from your iTunes backup file using Enigma Recovery. The software can scan backup files
created by iTunes and display deleted messages, photos, videos, notes, contacts and much more.
Follow our simple guide below to recover deleted videos from an iTunes backup file. Please note that if
you are using this method of recovery, you will need to select a backup file that was created from your
device, before you deleted the data from your iPod Touch. This is due to the way that a device needs to be
manually synced with iTunes.
You Will Need:
- The trial or full Enigma Recovery software
- An iTunes backup file
- A Windows or Mac computer

How to Transfer Lost, Deleted or Existing iPod Touch Videos to Your Mac or PC
Within the video album on your iPod Touch, you’d be likely to find some great memories with your friends
and family. However, when it comes to available storage on your device, videos are one of the biggest
culprits when it comes to taking up precious space. If you don’t want to permanently erase the videos
you’ve captured, an alternative solution is to transfer them to your Mac or PC, using Enigma Recovery
software.
The software will first scan your iPod Touch for existing videos and display them to you on your Mac or
PC. From there, you simply need to select which videos you’d like to export to your computer and wait
whilst the software completes the transfer using a secure process. It is a completely safe process and
your videos will not be damaged. Once the transfer is complete, you can delete the videos from your device
(we also advise that you make a full backup of your device), safe in the knowledge that you can watch the
videos anytime you wish, on your Mac or PC.
Transferring data is also a great solution if you have lost or accidentally deleted videos from your iPod
Touch. Enigma Recovery can also scan iTunes and iCloud backup files, searching for deleted videos that no
longer exist on your device. Once it has found these, you can transfer the videos to your Mac or Windows
computer for safekeeping. This means that even if you carry out an iTunes or iCloud backup, you do not run
the risk of permanently overwriting and deleting precious videos, as you will always have your backup copy
on your PC or Mac.
You Will Need:
- Full Enigma Recovery software
- A PC or Mac computer
- An iPod Touch (if you are transferring non-deleted videos)
- A USB cable to connect your iPod Touch to your Mac/PC
- An iTunes or iCloud backup file (if you are transferring deleted videos)
