If you’ve been previously backing up your Calendar events to iCloud, either manually or automatically, then your iCloud backups are a great place to start your search for recovered data after you have fallen victim to data loss. As one of the main data types stored to an iCloud backup, there is a good chance that your iCal events will be easily recoverable if your device has been lost or stolen.
However, whilst the data is stored in iCloud, it is not easily viewable by signing in to your iCloud account. That’s why we’ve recently added iCloud recovery as a function in our all in one desktop software, Enigma Recovery. As well as being able to scan devices such as iPhones, iPads and Androids, the software can now also extract data directly from an iCloud backup file, even if the data has been deleted from your iPod Touch, since the backup was made.
Using a safe and secure process, the software will scan your iCloud backup and display any messages, calendar events, notes, contacts, photos and more, that it has found in the file. The process couldn’t be simpler, and is a quick way to regain access to your data after your device has been lost or stolen.
You Will Need:
- The free or full version of Enigma Recovery
- A Mac or PC
- An iCloud backup file
- Your iCloud login details
