The introduction of tablet devices – in particular the popular series of iPads – has seen a surge in internet usage amongst all user types. Be it children browsing for their favourite TV shows, working professionals for research or the older generation catching up on the news, the ease in which the internet can be accessed has dramatically improved.
And one of the many benefits when surfing the web and being constantly connected, is the ability to record your internet usage – be it for repeat visits, ease of navigation or parental control on a shared device. But what happens if this information is deleted unexpectedly? It may have been from the slip of a finger, a faulty backup or even a failed iOS upgrade. Whatever the risks of deletion, some users may wish to remain pro-active and extract the existing internet history from the iPad before it gets lost.
Enigma Recovery is a specialist data recovery software that handles both deleted and non-deleted content. It works by scanning the internal memory of your iPad to locate the file paths of your current items, and allowing them to be exported into a readable format to be saved on your computer.
For a step-by-step guide of how the software works, please see the blow (which includes screenshots of the Enigma Recovery in action).
