How does it work?

To extract files from your iCloud backup, you will need a third-party tool separate from iTunes and iCloud. An iCloud extractor capable of helping you to view your iCloud backup clearly.

The iPhone data recovery tool Enigma Recovery doubles as an iCloud extractor. In addition to recovering deleted files straight from your iPhone, or any other iOS device, the program also helps you gain access to your iCloud backup and the files inside it. After downloading the software to your desktop, Enigma Recovery will copy your iCloud backup and enable you to view and transfer files to your PC.

The importance of backups

Backing up your iOS device to iCloud is one sure way to make sure your messages, contacts, photos and more are stored safely. It’s important to backup your iPhone data just in case anything happens to your device. Additionally, when you purchase a new phone, a backup will allow you to restore all of the information from an old phone to a new phone. It will also give you the option of accessing this data at a later date. Find out how to extract data from your iCloud backup file below.

Choosing to backup your iPhone data to iCloud will give you three different storage options. The free option is 5GB and then the paid options are 20GB, 50GB, 100GB and 1TB. Once you have backed up your iPhone to iCloud, it is saved to Apple’s online storage service and secures your data by encryption.
